Tips to Prevent Running Injuries

Running is a great activity and can be especially enjoyable in Hollywood and the rest of South Florida, where mild weather and lots of sunshine can mean many days of the year are available for joggers and runners. This type of activity, while beneficial, does put extra strain on your joints, ankles, and knees, and can lead to serious injuries. Stay visible.

Keep an eye on yourself.

If you start to feel faint or start to have chest pains or any serious pains while you run, stop. Seek medical attention immediately if you develop any concerning symptoms while you run. Running places a strain on your entire body, and while for a healthy person it can be a good exercise, it can also create serious problems. Never ignore symptoms.
